Our story

Bringing Philippines craft to global teams.

Mark founded Mrkd Inc. in 2025 to give Philippines-based designers and engineers direct access to teams building serious software anywhere in the world. The shape of the work is disciplined: we build what we said we’d build, in the way we said we’d build it.

Today the studio is 6 people — designers, developers, PM, and operators — working with a small number of clients across global markets. We build websites, mobile apps, dashboards, AI tools, and Shopify stores from our base in Angeles City, with teammates across the Philippines.

One principle holds it together: follow excellence. It is the standard we hire to, and the reason our clients stay.

Where we work

Angeles City, serving the world.

Our HQ is in Angeles City, Pampanga — with teammates across the Philippines. We work with global teams and shape hours around each engagement; async handles the rest.

Culture

The people, not the pitch.

We hire slowly, retain deliberately, and treat delivery as craft. If you like how we work — and want to work this way — we hire across engineering and design.

What we believe

Four principles behind the studio.

Not values on a wall — operating commitments. Each one names a concrete outcome you should expect if we work together.

One studio, whole product

Design, engineering, and iteration ship from one team — so the brand and the product don't drift apart across launch.

Prototype-first delivery

A working prototype in your hands in about two weeks. Iterate with us until the feel is right, then we lock scope and estimate — and only then do we start the disciplined build.

Direct communication

You talk to the people building your product, not an account handler. Issues surface early, in writing, with a same-day path to resolution.

Considered craft

We hire specialists we'd confidently put in front of any client. That's why the work compounds — every project raises the bar for the next.

The playbook

Prototype-first. Fixed price. Scope locked.

Every project moves through the same rhythm. A brief becomes a scoped reply within one business day. A working prototype lands in your hands in about two weeks. Then a locked scope, a locked estimate, and a disciplined final build.

  1. 01

    Discover

A first call about what you're building. We follow up within one business day with a scoped reply and a clear recommendation.

  2. 02

    Research

Tech and user research. What your users actually need, what your stack can support, and the shortest honest path between them.

  3. 03

    Build

First working prototype in about two weeks. Iterate with us until the feel is right, then we lock scope and estimate for a disciplined final build.

  4. 04

    Launch

Deployment, monitoring, and handoff. Launch is the point where we know the plan worked.

  5. 05

    Grow

Ongoing product growth, maintenance, and the next chapter of work — usually on a monthly cadence.
